If we cannot live together, dear...

Kobe, 10 february 2009

I found out that it will be quite hard to take you here in Japan, my love. I cannot take any other options than living with all of us together or not at all. My heart is all yours, I simply cannot live anyone behind, not Fatih, nor Husna, neither Fauzan. It's strange for me to call Fauzan, because this is the first day he has a name :).

I cried so long that I still have my eyes redden even after 6 hours. And when I called you, you were also crying, that's the most expensive cries since we spent minutes on the phone just to listen each other crying.

You sent me a message,
"Sayang, bahagia adl pilihn hdp.Dia bkn takdr.smg dg ini qt mkn sdr kuasa Alloh atas qt.betapa tdk berdayax qt.tp yknlah Alloh g prnh mau bkn yg trbaik mnimpa qt.Alloh maux qt sll mdpt yg trbaik.Mnta bimbingn Alloh y sayangq, hadirkn Alloh dsetiap pilihn qt spy sll mdpt prlindungnX."

Umi, you are the best. I Love You!!!

Inspired by Eslami

He's a blackhorse

Everyone in our class agrees that Eslami is the ichiban omoshiroi gakusei that we will missed very much. We call the class as Eslami's twelve. These are (from left) Bun "Tanaka-san" Mi Laos, Jeane Thai, May Phillippines, Juan Romero Diaz Spain, Sabry Brunei, Maija Latvia, Lee Man Phillippines, Honorat "Mr. Perfect" Haiti, Tess Phillippines, Haider Bangladesh, Me and Eslami Iran.

One of our other friend is not in the picure, She is Irodah from Uzbekiztan. She didn't live here anymore.

Eslami is a good learner, though Honorat was much better than him in Grammar, and Jeane was the top scorer. Yet Eslami's spirit and enthusiasm in learning Nihon Go is increasing day by day. He like to try to talk even if the sentences he made is unbelievably laughable. He is the joke-maker. One of his favorite question is "Kore wa nan de?"

In the Sanehira sensei's presentation class, he surprised us by delivering 70% in Japanese about his country and his major. Even Maija complimented him "It was really kool! U re one of the rare people I know, that can talk INTERESTINGLY about any subject :)". No doubt about it. Additionally, he told us that he was the one that built the Milad Tower in Tehran, the fourth tallest tower in the world. He started the work when he was 23! So far he has translated two books into Persian.

Please know him closer:

Now that he can make himself as a useful person in his life in such a very young age, I now must struggle harder to my limit.

The Good Student Wanna be

1:35 AM / Posted by Kampoeng Batja / comments (0)

Yesterday was Monday, 9 february 2009

It was the final examination for みんなの日本語 (Minna no Nihon Go). It's very tough, or totemo taihen deshita, as we sighed it. The materials were taken from all parts of the book. It was harder than I thought since we were finished reading it for only 2 months, or practically in 25 days. However, the previous two preparations with the aid of Rani-sensei really helpful. I as confident at that time. Jishin ga aruku natta.

We came before Mizuno sensei, to arrange the seat row. As (you know ^_^) some students are becoming dependent on me. They wanted to learn from me. Which means learn during the test. They called me sensei, so that I would allow them to manipulate me. Somehow, these people turned me into what-they-called-as "tolerable student". How smooth.

Fortunately, well...unfortunate for these cheaters, Mizuno sensei smelled the plot and changed the seat order randomly. This is obviously predictable yet we surprised, whle laughing at ourselves. Because one of my Philippino friend Lee Man was being terorized by Mizuno sensei who starred at his work during the test, and made sound like "Cssshh!" As if he was just making a mistake. He was totally clueless and the sign really detoriated his focus.

The other friend from Bangladesh Haider, who saved his seat peacefully next to me, was being cursed by my Iranian friend Eslami because Haider get the perfect spot instead of himself. Luckily Haider put some pity on him and gave him some clues.

That day, Eslami for the second time was punished by the nature. He promised to quit cheating but somehow he asked for exception day, which is the examination day.

Group Study

8 February 2009

It is very good indeed to have joined in a group study. I, Haider (Bangladesh), Eslami (Iran), Lee Mann (Philippines), and a countryman Rani-sensei, rushed as the next day we are having the final Japanese test. We are receiving a great assistance from Rani. The thing that we regret is that we didn't start this method earlier.

Remember this, friends are not only giving you their hands, but also their heart. They are as precious as your life.

Sincere Friends

8 February 2009

Yesterday I helped Haider, my friend from Bangladesh, to finish his presentation. Some people have heavier duty than us. It becomes our obligation to give a hand those who need for aid, eventhough they do not seek for it.

Remember this, we must put our symphaty above many things. Sometimes, it is the best thing you can give. Many times, it worth much more than money.

A Final Examination

1:20 PM / Posted by Kampoeng Batja / comments (0)

5 February 2009

This afternoon Abi will face the final examination for Kanji, both reading and writing. It's about 250 characters with 2-4 combination each, approximately more than 500 words I must recognize. It feels so distressing knowing that I just started it like 3 months ago. On the other hand, I feel proud because compared to other university students, I have run faster. However, there's nothing to proud of the things that I don't really grab.

Some of my friends undergo this exam just to kill the time, others don't even bother so that they do nothing but cheating. I usually say, "I don't want to cheat, but someone (as I pointed at the ones) forces me to allow them cheating on me." Only those who are really serious will get both the good grade and the knowledge.

Remember this, my children, seek knowledge all over the world, as far as your dream can take you. While keeping honesty and sincerity.

A New Life for My Third Son

1:31 AM / Posted by Kampoeng Batja / comments (0)

My son,

Today is your first day you passes your life, you were born Wednesday, February 4, 2009 (8 Shafar 1430 Hijriyah), at 16.30 WIB in Banyuwangi, in the hand of our nurse, Lek Tin. Remember this day!

I don't know what to call you. Last time your mother want to name you as Sulthon Muhammad Al-Faruq. Then your grannie said that the nickname will not sound good, as Javanese like to shorten names. So your Mom ask for suggestions in her SMS. I proposed Umar Abdul Azis to remind us about the greatness of The Prophets (pbuh) companions. Let it be your Mom to decide.

She is too tired now, so let her sleep. I don't want to wake her up eventhough I miss her so much. Much more than before. I put abundant sympathies on her, and feeling sorry that I could not give the best for her. I really wish that I could take her pain, and put my life at risk to replace her sacrifices.

My Son, remember this!
No matter how much you can give, never will you be able to give her back what she has given to you.
